Vacation Rental
     Client Guidelines

For Our Vacation Rental Clients:


House Rules

We require a copy of your House Rules.  This helps us to understand how your STR is managed and established guest expectations.  If your Rules change, please forward a copy to us prior to the next scheduled turnover.



We reserve the right to assess an additional charge if there is evidence of pets having been present.


Hazardous Clean Up

We generally do NOT clean hazardous waste (blood, pet waste, human waste outside of the toilet, etc). If we do encounter such conditions, the owner/manager will be informed.  If cleaning commences, there will be an additional fee added to the service.



Our services include putting dishes away (from the dishwasher or drying rack).  If dishes must be washed (or re-washed) we may assess an additional fee.



We will attempt to wash one load of laundry while on site (unless you have selected our Linen Rental Option).  Any laundry that can not be completed on site will be completed off site (for an additional fee) and returned at the following turnover.  If you request they be returned prior to the next turnover, there may be an additional fee for delivery.



We ask that you provide a full inventory list of linens (number, size, color of sheets, towels, etc) available.  If specific linens are required in a room, please indicate this on the list. 

If you wish for us to maintain inventory of any type (condiments, soaps, shampoo, etc) the STR owner/manager must provide a list of products to be refilled as well as the location of stock.  Please also provide the contact of who maintains stock (this service is available for an additional fee).



If you wish for us to verify dishes and other kitchen ware provided to your guests, the STR owner/manager must provide a list of items with description and quantity.


Linen Rental and Laundry Services

We offer a Linen Rental Option.  Stop worrying about your linens being damaged, not having sufficient stock on hand, or your cleaners not being able to finish laundry onsite.

We can provide all bedding, towels, etc for headache free vacation rental management - Please contact us at 805-804-5454 or for more information.

We must assess a 50% fee if you cancel with less than 24 hours (not including weekends or holidays) notice by phone (48 hours by email). Any deposits are not refundable.

The full cleaning fee will be billed on the scheduled day of cleaning if the cleaner is unable to clean due to last minute cancellation, lack of access (keys or codes not working, or being turned away upon arrival). We must assess a fee when access is denied or not available since our cleaning techs have based their day on servicing your home.

There are no exceptions, even for the first incident, or if a reminder text/email has not been sent and/or received.


We typically close on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, December 24 & 25. 

Our best efforts will be made to reschedule cleanings if your day falls on a holiday, but it cannot be guaranteed. If staffing is available on those holidays, we will fill the schedule on a first come, first served basis, so please let us know if you anticipate a turnover on a holiday.

By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:

  • I understand that due to the immense time and expenses incurred by by Raini & Associates, Inc (DBA CARAVEL CLEANING COMPANY) in vetting, hiring, and training employees, a 'finders fee of $5,000 will be charged if I hire a staff member on an individual basis for private work.

  • I understand Solicitation of a Caravel Cleaning Co. employee for private hire will result in permanent termination of service and forfeiture of any unused gift cards or referral credits earned.

  • I understand I may be billed for service at the full or partial rate for failing to provide access to the property upon arrival.  This includes access codes not working, keys not available, are turned away at the door, or other cause not in control of the Company or employee.

  • I understand there may be a 50% OR $50 (whichever is greater) cancellation fee if service is canceled without a minimum 24hour notice.  (not including weekends or holidays).

  • I understand payment is due at the time of service, and my credit card number will be securely retained as back up payment for undisputed delinquent balances.

  • I agree to receive email and SMS communication from Raini & Associates, Inc and its subsidiaries. I understand I may opt-out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button (email) or replying "STOP" to any SMS message. (keep in mind this will also effect your appointment reminder emails and text messages)
